The Druid and the Mistletoe

“I’ve always been fascinated with the priest of the Celtic world, but who they where and what they did is a bigger midterm than most in history. We don’t even know if they truly existed at all.
Over the years I’ve done as much research as I can on them, and this image is a glimpse at what I think they could have looked like. It goes without saying that it’s highly romanticised and stylised, but it’s the first painting in many that explored the druids and their strange and mysterious order and practises.”
Written by Sean Parry.

The original painting is acrylic on canvas. The image may also be used at some point in a limited set of prints.

Dimensions: 25.5 by 20.5 inches.
