Oseberg Ship - Handmade Art Print
The Oseberg burial contains some of the finest archaeological discoveries from the Viking age, and the artistry of the ship itself is no exception. The intricately carved Oseberg ship was discovered in a large burial mound in Norway and was big enough to seat 30 oarsmen. The amount of decoration across the ship (including below the water line) means it’s likely that the ship belonged to someone very wealthy and powerful in life.
This beautifully crafted art print by Paula Cruz Art depicts the prow of the Oseberg ship. It has been hand printed with silk screen using gold ink on black card.
Material & Make
The artwork you will receive has hand printed by Paula using silk screen and high quality inks and paper to maintain integrity and quality of colour and image.
Your print will arrive on uncoated black card and should be handled delicately. It’s preferable to only touch the edges, and we recommend mounting these in a frame behind glass for longevity of care.
