La Tène Beasts | Fine Art Painting
Beasts found within Iron Age Celtic art pay homage to the dynamic minds of the ancient peoples of the world. Their winding yet subtle appearance offers a glimpse into the vision of the early pagan peoples of the North, whose artwork was strikingly impactful in its creative yet structured form (especially during a time when Classical art was praised for its realism by the Romans.)
Created by Sean Parry of Sacred Knot Tattoo, this original painting embodies not only this distinct yet highly precise version of La Tène art, but embodies colour and composition found in artifacts of the time period (around 2000 years in the past).
Material & Make
The artwork you will receive is the original piece. It was hand painted on a cotton canvas stretched over a wooden frame backing. Please know that our images intend to capture the colour to the best of our ability, but can’t always display the exact nuances of texture and tint within the artwork. If you have concerns about this, please try viewing on different monitors to make sure your computer or phone is giving you the best representation.
