Isildur

  • £15.00
Design

This A4 print is The Saxon Storyteller's take on one of the most important events of Tolkien's second age as following his fathers death, Isildur, the new King of Gondor cuts the one ring from the hand of Sauron...

Norse mythology was clearly a huge influence on the world that J.R.R. Tolkien created for his Lord of the Rings series. From the inclusion (and characteristics) of some of the races like the elves and dwarves to the names of many of his characters, the author was clearly inspired as many of our artists are today by the tales passed down from the Viking age.

Available as a standalone print or as part of Matt's Lord Of The Rings Print Series.
