Uffington Chalk Horse Handbag

Based on the Uffington chalk horse hill carving of South England from the early Iron Age, this hand made bag is designed, sewn and dyed by Sean Parry, all without modern machinery. It has a stone stopper found on the beach at Llandudno, North Wales and carved by Sean. There is no evidence the ancient people of this time period had such bags as these, but they would have had to have carried their personal belongings in something! :)
