Mind Trollcross Bundle | Pendant and Print for Charity

  • £40.00
Design

Dylan Parry from Fiendish Forge has been creating a number of pieces of existing jewellery designs for us at the Northern Fire studio and has used his skills to raise money for a local mental health charity.

He explains more below:

"I am proud to release this pendant and print in time for mental health awareness week. This is a design that has been made in collaboration with Sacred Knot Tattoo and Villkat Arts, which I am eternally grateful for. I have wanted to raise money for a mental health charity for a long time and thanks to this collaboration, I have finally been able to see that wish come true. I'm forever thankful for all of Sean;s input with this pendant, and Ash's work on the print design. I hope you like it as much as we do.

All money raised with every sale of this bundle will be supporting a local mental health charity that has helped me through some difficult times in my life. We all know someone affected by mental illness, whether it's us, or a loved one. And without getting too personal, this is an issue I have lived with from a very young age and I am so happy and proud to be in a position where i can help others by raising money for a charity close to my heart."

The designs found on the pendant and the print are based on that of a troll cross, which represents a talisman of protection and safety from evil forces. The runes along the outside of the pendant write out 'Your story isn't over yet', which goes in line with the central design of the semicolon. The semicolon is used as a symbol of strength and solidarity for those struggling with mental illness that began as Project Semicolon, (@projsemicolon on Instagram).

We have chosen to support the Conwy branch of the charity.

As written by the organisation:

Conwy Mind who are here to support better mental health. They are a local, independent charity that work across Conwy County providing free services to improve people’s mental health and wellbeing. They provide support calls, guided self-help programmes, counselling, community groups and hubs. They are committed to working with the community to challenge stigma and discrimination associated with mental health, the delivery of inclusive services are accessible to everyone who needs them, ensuring no one has to face a mental health issue alone.

Conwy Mind want to be able to help as many as possible because mental health issues affect us all. Whether it’s you, someone in your family, a friend, a colleague, a neighbour or a classmate, the impact can be really hard to manage. If you, or someone you know needs support then please get in touch with the team at Conwy Mind: 01492 879907 or info@conwymind.org.uk
