Sacred Knot - From the Archaeology | Enamel Pin Series

Design

This new series of enamel pins were designed by Sean Parry of Sacred Knot Tattoo and all 3 are exclusively available now on Northern Fire. The Archaeological Pin Series Includes:

Úlfhéðinn (Vendel Wolf Warrior) - The figure from the famous Torslunda plates, found in the Torslunda parish in Sweden, which were used to create embellishment in other Vendel Period graves such as those from Valsgärde.

Celtic Triskele - Reconstructed from a bronze disc brooch now housed in the National Museums of Ireland, dating to the 6th or 7th CE - the original brooch likely belonged to an elite Celtic Iron Age warrior.

Pictish Boar - Aside from stone carvings of ancient Pictland, this beast is found in Celtic Art across the ages, including the warrior helms on the Gundestrup cauldron and the La Tène Witham Shield.

Material & Make

Our pins are crafted in solid metal with enamel detailing and a sturdy pin for security of closure and longevity.
