Hrafnagaldr (Bindrune Raven) | Limited Edition Fine Art Print

  • £45.00
Design
For this piece of art, Hrafnhildur has chosen to depict one of the most symbolic creatures within Norse mythology. Many know of Huginn and Muninn, Odin's ravens who represent "thought" and "memory" respectively. But these animals were often omens of battle and the carnage of war, in addition to representing wisdom.

There are only 25 prints available of this design and only a few left; they are each numbered and signed.

Material & Make

There are only 25 prints available of this design; they are numbered and signed.
They are printed on high quality 300gsm heavyweight A3 print with a distinct grey textured recycled finish.

They are embossed in silver with Hrafnhildur's signature bind rune and partly hand drawn with silver ink. Each piece of art is hand signed and numbered by Hrafnhildur, and whilst the theme of these beautiful pieces is the same, there will be slight variations between each.

Your print will arrive packaged for safety and should be handled with care. It’s preferable to only touch the edges and we recommend mounting these in a frame behind glass.

About The Artist

Habba Nero is known for her work as an Icelandic handpoke tattooist, although her artistry is not confined to skin. Paired with her education (as a graduated scholar from the Iceland Academy of Arts), Habba’s innate artistic abilities have allowed her to master everything from realistic imagery to the nuances of Icelandic magical staves. Her artwork can be found globally, on human flesh, sheep skulls and wood (to name just a few mediums) and the esoteric and striking beauty of her style is clearly distinguishable. You can find more details of her work on the Habba Nero artist website.

For more creations by Hrafnhildur you can visit her Northern Fire collection.
